Sorry to hear that unfortunate news.
I know how you feel, and I have had that happen too. It's a pretty gut wrenching feeling. Try to polish it out as suggested or worst case get a new crystal.
Not much else one can say except, 'be more careful'
Then again watches are to be worn and a scratch kind of makes the watch more real as a living piece of equipment
