I would think that can service/repair without scratching, Panerai currently still services/repairs the older 5218-202/A, 5218-203/A, Pre A 4, the 4A and the 4B, Pre A 9, 9A and 9B as well as the 26A, 26B 28A and the 28B series and reissued the 26K and 28L this last couple of years.
