Got my GMTII (red and black) 2nd hand 11 yrs ago (and it was 10 yo). Never took it off my wrist except for a service 5 years ago and then last year when I "retired" it for a sd. Its a brilliant watch especially if you travel. I also sailed, wind surfed, dived, fixed the car and painted the house, went down 2000m in a mine and up 4000m at another, it never missed a beat.
