Bert,..that's a toughie.

My head says PO, but my heart says 24.

As a pure diving watch, to me, the PO might be the better choice.....why?

The bezel on the PO I find easier to read in all conditions. I think to a diver that's an important feature.

Secondly, and along those lines, I think a full 60 minute dial might be a more precise timming feature that one that has only 5 minute markers (boy, I know..Pam DNA and all).

Having said that, the Pam has such a distinctive look and I see FAR fewer Pams in general and 24s specificially than Omegas and POs.

From my own experience my 24 is so stupidly accurate it's scary and is one watch that has been noticed when I wear it. (Most don't even pay attention to any Rolex I have on).

I have had a couple POs-42MM--and as luck would have it it's the only watch I've had stop on me for no reason. Two months at Omega and no explanation what was done I got it back.

That is CERTAINLY not to indict Omega or the PO, it's simply my experience which is something we all draw on.

I do think the liquid metal version is stunning, but at the end of the day performance is what counts.

Good luck.
