My mum's Irish (we have so much in common
) Mum and Dad retired over there year and half ago now, it's so beautiful. They bought the house about 25 years ago planning to retire there one day. But Dad is so grumpy in his old age that he's never happy.
It's in the middle of no where, theres nothing to do. Basically they don't know what to do with themselves in retirement. Fair enough they are away from me and my brother, but we've been out a couple times, they've been back, the flight is one hour, airports are close. And are probably gonna sell it and come back. The housing market is shocking at the moment in Ireland, so is a bad idea. Just wish they could be happy and content.
