good idea to edit it out....it's a personal number that's unique to the watch. one wouldn't want a fraudster putting out a fake with a real number. plus, others have said that it avoids the possibility of someone reporting it stolen to panerai.
not that i personally have heard of any stories of these kinds of things actually happening, but, i guess, better to be safe than sorry.
that all being said, if you do find the time to blur out the number, it would be great to see the back again. the power reserve indicator is a pretty neat difference from the 372.
