Good point. He could turn the stem counter clockwise just a tad, and that would stop the movement.

But it does appear that my intial advise was misguided anyway, and that this situation does occur. My understanding is that a slight tap will place the date where it needs to be, and that because this happens that it won't necessarily hurt anything if left to run like this.


I have two watches with the 324 movement and have yet to experience this issue.
