Thank you Paul (Spunga) and others that have responded. I have spoken to Tylden Reed (what a pleasant gentleman he is) and he is most sympathetic and understanding of Submariners that have been used in anger and it looks like my watch will continue to sit on my wrist for a few more years.
As this forum has been of great assistance to me I will give feedback once the job is completed
