Up for grabs is a vintage Breitling Navitimer AOPA

809 reference w. Venus 178 manual wind chronograph movement

This is a 1 owner watch sourced direct from a local retired NAVY pilot. Everything is original on the watch except for the new crystal.

Serial number dates the watch to 1965

Nice dial with gilt AOPA logo

Hands are original white that have aged to a creamy/yellowish patina.

The inner bezel numbers have partially chipped off over time.

The watch runs and functions as should. Chrono runs and resets precisely to 0.

Case is very sharp and is evidently unpolished.

Caseback engravings are nice and crisp.

What you see is what you get. No box or papers. Comes on vintage leather bunt strap.
