There's still a booklet that explains what is and isn't covered by the warranty. The biggest difference is that this is a system that would eliminate the grey market's ability to get watches with "open" warranties.

There isn't any customer information associated with the warranty, just what was sold, when, and where. But it lets Breitling know what's selling where, and the idea would be that since the retailers won't be able to "hide" watches going out the back door, it'd cut down on the grey market.
