Up for sale is this Beautiful and Rare Omega Seamaster in Very Good Original condition. Most of the Seamaster watches from this era have straight lugs and plain case backs. This one has fancy lugs and the Seahorse logo on the back. This is a one owner watch and as a serious collector, he understood the importance of keeping it as original as possible. It was never refinished or polished. I can refinish this watch upon request at no extra charge, but I would imagine most collectors wouldn't dream of it.
The Stainless Steel case measures 34mm, not including the crown. It has the Omega Caliber 501 movement. The serial number is 16,349,610 and is dated from 1958 to 1960. It has the Original Omega 8 sided crown. The Original Silver Dial is in great shape and was never refinished. The Tritium lume on each hour marker has a nice patina and there are no cracks or missing lume. The Original Hands are in fantastic shape are also not missing the Tritium lume. The strap is Original to the watch as well. It is an Omega Signed Black Lizard. It is worn and doesn't have a lot of life left, and should be put aside since it was the original strap. The Original Buckle is in good condition and has the proper markings. This watch is in proper working order and keeping time. This is a great example of this watch, it is very rare to have a watch of this vintage with all the original parts, and be in this good of condition. You will Not Be Disappointed!
