Congrats on an amazing find.
You have done totally the right thing coming here. The above advice is complete and accurate. If you follow it, you will have a world class vintage piece worth somewhere in the mid-$20K range. At that point, you can sell it (I wouldn't), lock it up for posterity (maybe), or wear it occasionally ( as I do mine, upper left in avatar.) Anyway you slice it, it's win-win.
