Very first Rolex
Hi guys,
I'm new here but have been reading the forums for a wee while. I've always had a desire to own a Rolex and had narrowed it down to either a Coke bezelled GMT or a Seadweller. I stumbled across a pre-owned Rolex shop while I was away for a Valentines night away and had the opportunity to handle the Seadweller and GMT in the shop.
It was very unplanned but a really great deal on the GMT, so I made the choice to buy it there and then. Choosing between the Seadweller and the GMT was a hard choice but I eventually went with my gut and picked up this 2002 GMT Master II (16710) and absolutely love it! I wore it for the rest of the day and couldn't help glancing down to admire it.
Anyway I thought I'd post a valentines themed picture which really shows off the piece in all its glory. I'd still love to own a Seadweller so maybe some day I'd be lucky enough to own both!
