I rinsed off my SubC yesterday under the tap, but the triplock crown was locked all the way 100% shut. I made sure of that before I rinsed it.
Today when opened the crown to check if everything was functioning normally, I noticed that the winding mechanism felt much grittier than usual.
-I checked for any sort of water in the dial, and there is no amount of fogginess or visible moisture.
- It is keeping time accurately, same as always.
- When i put my ear against the movement, it sounds the same as normal, and if anything a tiny bit louder than usual.
The main problem is that I am feeling a resistance when winding it, and usually the winding process is very smooth. I am not overwinding it, since I have not wound it in a while, as it is my daily wearer.
It is about 2 years old now.
Does anyone have any advice as to how I can check whether everything is okay without taking to an AD?

You can take the back off and let it air dry.
