They do have a major difference. 10.5mm is very thin for a Luminor. 40% thinner than regular Luminor to be exact. This is catering to a new breed of buyer that wants a thinner feel like the Radiomir 1940's case but with the crown guard which makes it recognizable as a Panerai.

They are just wanting to appeal to the new clients I think. Most of these people will not give a damn about the rating.
