When looking up past vintages, research is your best source for answers. I didnt think it was a "knowledge" contest. But if that's what you are after, I can go that route with you as well. No problem.

Nothing in your post acknowledged you were quoting material from another source. That's apparent to anyone who reads it. It would have been simple to lead with "Here's what Wine Spectator had to say about the '09 Napa Cabernet vintage........". That makes it abundantly clear that those are not your own words, and would have made a perfect segue into your own personal opinion.

Your family is ITB. They know that if they use someone else's writing word for word, they give attribution to that source.
