I was giving up on Beringer 1997 after McAllen GTG but tonight was a shocker and then a 2nd shocker happened.
The Insignia is the gift that keeps on giving and the Beringer '97 gave me hope again [emoji12][emoji12] visiting a brand new Italian Resturant right down the street..
1st - Caesars Salad
1st -The Beringer Private Reserve makes a stunning comeback [emoji108]a nice treat silky smooth with a finish that I thought was gone forever
Awesome pizza for appetizer
Clams baked with garlic and just a little butter [emoji122] with lemon
The waiter without asking grabbed the bottle of 20 year old Beringer and jammed the cork screw down into the cork and destroyed it. Took me 15 minutes to get the remaining cork out
Insignia came out perfect and wow what color and smell. Understandably he offered to let me open the Joseph Phelps 2001
Angel Hair Pasta, olive oil, broccoli, garlic
The last drops are always the best
