Interesting that you're falling out of love with the ROO. I've never went without an ROO in the collection since 2008. Sold off the last one a few weeks ago and don't regret it one iota, and similarly, I'm now tilting more towards Patek too.

A lot has to do with AP's treatment of me. I have no plans on future purchases because of that, but it is a factor on the specialness of the watches I already own wearing off. That in addition to the fact they were not bought with the intention of being forever pieces in the first place. Watches are irrational purchases to begin with and sometimes its random things that cause that switch to turn off and for one to become disinterested in certain brands.
Inviting me on a manufacture visit to make up for horrible customer service and then standing me up for that manufacture visit by forgetting to actually arrange it for me was the worst. Then they blamed me for not chasing them down in time to remind them. Seriously that happened. I saw behind the curtain and didn't like what i saw. I wish i would have never seen as sometimes ignorance is bliss. I can't unsee how their operation is run.
