Had a 2013 Domaine Gangloff La Serene Noire Cote Rotie after waiting a while. These are nigh on impossible to get here in Australia.

Richard Hemming from Jancis' site summed it up perfectly.

'Bona-fide classic Syrah on the nose: the spice and black cherry liqueur character is utterly pristine, with stunning concentration and length. Absolute precision, yet far from clinical – there is an earthy, meaty naturalness to it that comes from sheer quality of fruit. A rival to my beloved Jamet? 19/20'

Cool label too!
