ROLEX watches being perfect?

I have often seen written on websites that when you are comparing a rolex with a replica, just remember that rolex watches are perfect or as perfect as they can be because of all the meticulous attention to detail.

The similar verbage is stated in John Brozek's book, THE ROLEX REPORT.

Well this is where my issue is. The inside (hidden in the casing and not visible on th dial) parts are created by machines but then hand assembled. The dial, the markings, the depositing of the luminous material on the hour hands and hour markers, all is done by machines so ofcourse it is perfect down to a few microns.

But the same can be said for a SEIKO or any other mass produced analog watch for that matter because they are also put together by machines. I have seiko watches whose dials will show the same quality of craftsmanship a ROLEX dial shows .....

The quality of materials ofcourse is different in ROLEX but you can not say a ROLEX dial is more perfect than a SEIKO dial ..

So when people say I buy a rolex because it is perfection, or a symbol of perfection blah blah blah, then that's just a bunch of bologne ....
