Disclosure, my pallet is not the most refined.

I have moved on from the "off dry" wines of Gewurtztraminer and Riesling, Marc gave me a great recommendation from the Hugel family that I have enjoyed immensely and am now enjoying Chardonnay. Red wine gives me an instant and massive headache but will forgive Port the pain, but no other.

I have tried wine from California and quite like the "vanilla" aroma of the Chardonnay from that region, I have not tried French because I have enjoyed American so far. I dont spend a fortune, about 20 to 50 quid which I guess is about $30 to $60.

Any recommendations in that price range would be gratefully received please.
