To be honest, I haven't commented on this thread nor followed it as I really do not care to lament on these topics....but now, Peter, with these two pics of incredible examples of Bonsai, has made the thread much more appealing to me! These are amazing, if you tire of one of these, I can help!

Sorry they have been in my family for very near 3 generations and hopefully will live on for a few generations to come.

LOL, well done!

I don't know if it's the growing reliance on autocorrect and/or spell checkers, or laziness, or just plain old-fashioned ignorance, but it seems like few people can write properly any more. And they don't even seem to care that they're wrong.

Sorry, that their wrong. LOL

I was, of course, referring to our neighbours, Mr and Mrs Protein.

PS. An overindulgence, involving some of the delightful produce of the Bordeaux region, is my only excuse here.

Damn this Chateau Lafite!

Well to be fair Adam comes by it kind of honestly

I’ve been corrected more than once as spelling and grammar were never my strong suit. I’m always happy to learn

OK reason #712 that I should observe and admire, but not touch. I'd likely give them Brondo...

Amazing.

Well over the many years being around Bonsai lost a few trees mainly to mistakes on my part. But you learn from your mistakes and trees are quite tough, and can adapt to the climate in your location but with trees not frost hardy must give them protection over winter.
