Fit of 43mm ROO vs 42mm on bracelet
I vaguely remember reading that the 43mm wears a bit better due to the angle of the plots than the 42mm ROO. My first serious watch was the black themes on hornback 14 years ago. Loved it but the stiffness of the hornback made the strap flare out a bit too much. I guess my interest is comparing the 43mm version vs 42mm on bracelet vs diver on rubber. Not sure if my memory of the fitment is correct. Best bet I know is to trek out and try them on, but rarely do they have all 3 varieties to try back to back to back. Still plan on checking them out in person but didn't know if anyone's compared the fit of them.

The 43mm wears very nicely, and the rubber strap is a bit softer and more flexible than the straps for the 42 and 44mm watches. The 42mm on bracelet also wears nicely IMHO, and would make your watch a bit different than the typical ROO that you'll see most people with. I don't have any recent experience with Divers, unfortunately. FWIW, I agree with you 100% about the hornback on the 42mm.

Ok I have all Three but the 43mm ROO on bracelet I don’t have. The 43mm ROOs are all gem set bracelets.
My 43mm ROO is a beast but wears comfortable on the wrist no issues I have the rubber and leather, but NOT even close to a RO bracelet comfort My 42mm ROO have the factory bracelet from AP done in Clearwater service center and is converted to a quick release system. The 42mm ROO bracelet is super thick. I honestly prefer the Straps but it does look better on the Bracelet. The bracelet does NOT wear as good as my 15400 or 15510. The Diver wears exactly like the 42mm ROO |

What size is your wrist OP?
As a partial answer, I find that my 42mm diver, on rubber fits, just my 6.25” wrist. Here are a few photos… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Also do you find the bracelet is a bit sharp on the inside and can dig in to the skin?

My wrist is 6.75". I know it's on the smaller side for an offshore but I feel like ROO look big in even large wrists anyways, meant to be a bit brash.. I need to just visit the boutique/house. I do wish the deployants/bracelets were still the single fold styles, I realize my wrists tend to get irritated by double folds so the rubber/tang likely is the way I'd go. Really liked the taupe when I tried it a few years ago, I feel like that would be killer as a time only piece.

Ouch! I would love to do this, but I don't think I could stomach the cost

My 42mm ROO "Ghost" on the oem titanium bracelet definitely wears smaller than my 43mm black/blue ceramic ROO 26420CE.OO.A043VE.01.

Interesting. Plan on checking stuff out in person, but I've read several threads that the older 42mm plots flare out more than the 43mm making it oddly wear a bit bigger.

How many people here are living with a Ti beast daily? I have a pretty flat wrist and its 7 3/8"...so decent size as well for a big watch.
I love the way the 43 feels, but it just doesn't seem they are going to re-release the ghost. |

Is your wrist actually 6.25? Divers normally look huge on anything <6.5 so that's why I am always nervous to buy. Do you have a pic of you wearing other 39-42MM watches?

Here are a bunch of watches I’ve owned/worn that are all 40mm or less… My AP (currently my one and done watch) is the only one I’ve had that’s >40mm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
