Sending pm to member with low post count.
Hello
I’m trying to pm a member with a low (6) post count. Is there a minimum amount of posts someone has to have before they can receive a pm? Thanks very much |

Hi Graham. Yes, I think it's 12 or 15 posts before a member can send or receive PMs. There's a post about it somewhere in the rules, in some section or other.

I think most phpBB settings would fall under policy management vs. a rule, per se.
Rules manage individual's behavior; settings are there to protect the broader community and server health. For example, phpBB has a feature that allows you to put new posts in queue, where the post waits until it is approved or denied by a moderator. The same is true for many policies that are best practices which can be set with permissions for myriad reasons - especially for new users who do not have enough posts.
