Date or no date….

When I was still working, I always knew what the date was. I never needed to look at my watch. So I get what you’re saying.

But now that I’m retired, I discovered the usefulness of having a date function on my watch. Either way, I’d still prefer the Submariner over the Submariner Date.

I owned both. I preferred the date.

I have a 14060m that I purchased in 2004 and has been my main watch and only Rolex for 21 years. Love it!

I use the date function every day multiple times a day on my BLNR. It’s a great tool!

Yep - every single time I pick up a pint of milk or loaf of bread for the expiry date and every time I sign a document - I probably double check the date as often as I check the time.

No date looks better though and is the classic version so it’s up to you…

Nodate, you don’t need a date on the bottom of the ocean. :p

Bottom of the ocean? It's rated only to 300m ;-)

My preference is no date—I like the cleaner, more symmetrical dial.

The original Sub (no date) for me. Love the symmetry of the clean dial.
