Lume on the hands looks naff on this platinum piece, so sticks are out for that reason alone.

As my sons say, I’m an old dinosaur and so diamonds on a witch dial seems less masculine to me. Then I saw the watches Tom Brady was wearing at Super Bowl and my opinion changed in a nano second!!

Rolex 228236 DD40. Glacier Blue. Sticks or Baguettes?

Baguettes (a few pics of the 128236 in different lighting)

I’ve owned this one for four years, and I still stare at it every time I wear it.

The “blued” romans and hands suck me in.

I bought a YG DD40 with Champagne dial to celebrate a promotion to President. I should have bought it with baguettes but still love it without. It would have been the appropriate watch to have diamonds.

Ya I have a rose gold one too and always wish I got one with bags but I don’t think they ever offered that in the olive dial.. I guess I’ll just have to get a blinged out yellow one
