That blue one is pretty damn sharp.

If I was an academy grad I would definitely pick one up if offered.

The design themes throughout are quite impressive, thoughtful, and would certainly have my interest. Hat tip to whoever did the leg-work on it, well done.

I recall that the Mid store back in the stone-ages used to have several watch brands that they simply slapped the USNA crest on (Tag, etc) and called it a day. I also recall Submariners for under $2K. A missed opportunity for sure.

We are there a week after you for our 30th in the fall, and the class leaders are looking at custom mechanical pieces inspired by John Moses Browning that also have my interest.

Nice package, priced sanely too. Love that it includes both a strap and bracelet.

A good looking watch - but if I were you I would only purchase one if I thought I might actually wear it.

This is actually an excellent point. I have a few very cool customized watches that I have either bought or have been given to me as gifts that have military service meaning to me and I have kept for sentimental purposes, but I only wear my Rolexeseses (nod to Chewey).

That said, SS Oyster has many different watches and based on his posts, he wears them all.

This is my challenge. If purchased before 30 June (or something like that) it is $200 off the already pretty good price.

However, I do not think I would ever wear it (other than maybe during the Army Navy game), and my children won’t wear it when handed down. They will wear my Rolex watches though.

So, although I think it a great effort by the class rep, I am going to pass.’

Thanks for the feedback. Pretty amazing what a smaller Swiss watch company can do in terms of customization.

The achievement of being a Naval Academy graduate is impressive and appreciated. This is a cool watch and it commemorates a life achievement and course that you have lived. I like the watch, and to me, it would not matter if the watch was worn, displayed or just stored. The price is not bad and at some point down the road you may wish you had made this purchase if you pass. I say step up, buy the watch, support your class and have a very well though through memento. I think you should buy it.
