FS: Vintage Audemars Piguet “Hoop”-style 18k Yellow Gold 14mm Buckle

On offer here I have a genuine vintage 18 karat Yellow Gold Audemars Piguet tang buckle in distinctive “Hoop” style with 14mm inner width. This classic AP dress buckle is double-stamped with both the complete Audemars Piguet name and also “APCo”, as well as “750” for the gold content. I would guess that it dates to the late 1960s to 1970s, as I have seen one or two buckles of this exact “Hoop” style on certain AP dress models from that era. All of the aforementioned nomenclature on the underside is still present, quite legible and only lightly worn. This uncommon vintage gold AP buckle is suitable for a variety of classic ‘60s & ‘70s Audemars dress models in yellow gold.

This elegant solid gold buckle is in Very Good to Excellent overall vintage condition, with some signs of wear and age — light scratches mainly — but no major defects.
