So I was pondering PAM's and the fact that all references, if I'm not mistaken, have serial numbers and other etchings on the screw off case back. This provides some safeguards to us as we can always get a new case if something gets damaged (i.e., lugs, quick change strap system, screws get stripped, etc).
The above said, the 372 now boasts the serial number right on the case itself. How is this going to affect an owner that may possibly need a case replacement down the road? Do you think Panerai will replace a case and re-etch it with the same serial number? ![]() Thoughts? ![]()
