116610 crown/stem question?

When you guys with a sub unscrew the crown to wind the watch, dies the crown have a two step before it get to wind position? Mine used to unscrew to a stop before a touch would get to a wind position. Now it goes straight to wind position. Any thoughts?

Not sure what you are describing.

The crown simply unscrews and has a hex socket soldered at the bottom of it. Then it needs to pop up a bit and engage with the mating hex nut that is screwed to the top of the stem. This nut/socket engagement needs to take place in order to wind it.

Sometimes it just pops into position, and other times it isn't quite aligned and needs to be wiggled/rotated a tad to engage. It may feel like it is two separate actions at times.
