Need helping locating a piece.

Hello all,
Been a long time since I’ve lurked or posted. Im currently searching for my Sub LV that I had to sell when I started my family years ago. Serial # F099207
I’m hunting Chrono24 etc, but if anyone comes across it in their 2am Rolex for sale ads I’d deeply appreciate if they would point me in its direction.

Could perhaps asking a grey dealer if he could source it be a good idea as well? I am sure they get access to many watches that get sold without hitting C24, so it could work.

I've seen that sub in person! Great idea and good luck hunting it down -- I wore mine today.

I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but the odds of you finding that watch are astronomical. Good luck, though!

It's weird being the same age as old people.

Yeah, good luck tracking down your old LV! That serial hunt is tough—I'll keep an eye out in my late-night scrolling sessions...

Start with where you sold it, then who did it go to etc…

Wild goose chase! Even if you find it, what makes you think the current owner will part with it? Just replace it with an identical model from the same time period. That would be much easier. If it has sentimental value, forget that. Others have celebrated their own milestones.with it, since you sold it. It has a whole different history now. It’s not the same watch, anymore.

Time to replace it with a similar model. Your exact watch is gone forever my friend.

Good luck

I’d just replace it with another one

Needle in the world’s largest haystack I'm afraid. Also, S/Ns are not normally given on adverts, so not sure looking through Chrono will provide any use.

Good luck!
