Icon7 water resistance limits

I'd like to know the point at which the seals give way on datejust models - on 16030, 16200 and 116200. I know all these models are rated as 100m water resistance but there's probably a comfortable safety margin.

I'd be grateful if anyone could let me know of pressure tests that have measured how resistant these models really are (with new seals, of course)?

Love the forum. Thank you.

Properly mounted the seals are good for several hundreds meters. The first thing to give when pressure is applies is the caseback for those models. It will start to bend at a certain depth. This is VERY deep. In an old ad from Rolex they talk about more than 1000 feet.

Rolex watches are dramatically over engineered.
