Does one have more inherent "value" than the other? And are there any known issues with either model?

I am not aware of any issues with either reference. The difference is the bracelet (which is pretty sweet!)

The 236 I believe was made in fewer numbers and is no longer offered though new examples can be had.

I have the 250 and am completely satisfied though if both were laying side by side the 236 would be a strong attraction due to the bracelet feature.
