PAM on Breitling?

A few months or so before I bought my PAM, I was seriously considering a Breitling Navitimer. In anticipation of the purchase, I found a brown calf strap with deployant for a great deal and grabbed it. Since I changed my mind and bought a Panerai instead, I still had this strap laying around so just today I thought about seeing if it fit. And what do you know? It does!

So what do you think? Has this been done before? Is it taboo to do this to a PAM? I do have to say that I like the fit of the PAM butterfly deployant better.

The strap combo looks cool, but >>>>>

..............the Breitling logo on the deployant doesn't work for me.

Good thing about Panerai, eventually you will get a strap to match the watch or even a watch to match the strap...in the meantime, rock it and smile.

I've done the opposite and put the Pam straps on my Breitling. Not sure I'd do it this way.

No issue with the strap. Just not the clasp.

I wear my strap all over the place. I have my Patek's strap on my Daytona, I have my Daytona strap on a datejust, bla bla bla...
