New Straps Have Arrived

Hey guys, as I have posted before, after I pulled the trigger on the 104, there was no more turning back on the strap addiction.

I immediately bought one, then another followed. Just after a week or two, I found myself ordering four to five more. Last-last week, the first (of the last four orders) one arrived.

It arrived in this small packet.

The contents of the small packet - George Lan Gray Calf: 24x24, 80x120; one sewn-in, one floating keeper; natural linen stitching.

When I went to the local PO to pick it up, I was with my 3717-01, so I managed to snap some photos with the strap.

I know, I know, wrist shots or it did not happen :D But, as I am still waiting for the polished buckles I have ordered, the customary wrist shots would have to wait for now.

By that time, I hope the other straps have arrived too.

Thanks for looking. ;)

The next batch of straps that I ordered just arrived this week. It was a very busy week so I was able to pick it up from the local PO only yesterday. After paying the Php40.00 custom inspection fee, here's how it looked:

Opening the package, here's what I got in side, two (2) sets of 24mm x 24mm straps and a freebie sticko from Don ;)

Here is the California Tan - - 75/120 mm with sewn-in polished buckle

Here is the Series F Black - 85/120 mm with sewn-in polished buckle

With these straps arriving almost successively, I did not know anymore which one to use or strap-on first. At the end, and as I am biased with and towards "black", I went for the Series F first, thus, the oligatory wrist shots:

Thanks for looking ;)

After going through some strap hunting, searching and purchasing, whats next? ....yes, buckle hunting..... :D

Ordered this few weeks back. Waited almost a month and wondered why I haven't received any notice from the local PO or text message from my contact there. Thus, decided to pay them a visit and, viola, apparently, the seller/sender forgot to jot down my last name on the packet. Ergo, the local PO had it mixed up for some reason or another.

Anyway, let us go right away to the scans:

Let's buckle up:

Thanks for looking

According to her, I have a new small packet for pick-up. Rushed to the P.O. and picked-up my small package/packet.

Here ya go, enjoy the scans:

Pic shows where the items originated. Just ordinary registered mail and it got here in less than a week, not bad

Pretty cool straps, Kabayan. Can't wait to return stateside so I can order straps for my Pam 88, SMP, Deepsea. Just recently acquired a GMT II Pepsi and plan on getting a dark blue strap and a dull red strap for it. :D

Great straps. Do you have the contact details of the second package from Thailand? I live in Bangkok and I'm looking to get a few more straps next week.
