What would you do (pam 111)?

I'm preparing to move up from 40mm to 44mm and have been looking around for a deal on a PAM 111.

The net price difference between a BNIB N serial from TRF trusted seller and LNIB M serial from a private seller (from the other popular panerai forum) is around $800. The private seller has no references but is willing to accept a credit card payment via PayPal with split fees.

Is that enough of a price spread or would you 1) just pay up for the new one or 2) wait for another seller with references? I know all about "buy the seller", but that $800 would come in handy for a few straps....

Can you check this guys other references besides watches?

For example, I bought from someone who didn't have any watch selling refereneces, but I googled him, found out he was a judge and called his office. His secretary picked up the phone and I was talking to my seller. Can't fake gov't websites to easily.

I think this guy may be a scammer. TRF trusted sellers win again!

111 is not a hard-to-find model

If you have any doubts then move on

Good luck

I would buy the seller and not the watch... See if you can gather some more info on the private seller... If not, I would look for another or pay the bit more and get new.

For me, I have had enough pre owned watches and like to go new but this of course is just my opinion... One persons mint is not anothers if you know what I mean
