Stopped by a local store that had a few used watches, they had a Panerai there. I have no idea the model, it was gold with a brown alligator band, well used and worn... as was the case.

I think he was asking way too much, as I know his Rolex and Omega prices were MUCH higher than what I have seen here.

He wanted $15k for the Panerai. I wish I knew the model, I have been looking but have not seen the same unit.

But it looked so nice on my wrist, so now it is high on my to-do list. Probably in a different color combination however.

I was always afraid the Panerai was way to big for my pencil thin wrist, but this one fit great even with its large case size.
