Panerai 005 uneven lug width?

Hi Guys, I have a L series Panerai 005 the lower right lug is smaller (noticable
with the naked eye). Is this uncommon? or unheard of?

I have seen this with Rolex but Panerai? This was bought new in 2010 L series.

No polishing or refurb.

Pics to follow.

What do you think?

Thanks

Yes, quite sure. Does the lug width difference seem way off for Panerai?

Have you tried measuring it with a ruler? May just be an illusion.

I'll answer your question assuming they are really off.

No, it is NOT common. The lugs should be the exact same size. I have never heard of anyone saying otherwise. You are the first I have read about (outside of someone dropping their watch and bending the lug, which could have happened to yours!)

Double check with some calipers to make sure. If it is off, I hope you bought from a good seller. :yikes:

I have... on a fake one..

Im not saying yours is a fake but if the lugs are uneven ill run to the nearest AD to get it authenticated.

Yep, without a doubt the lug was off. Went back to the dealer and exchanged for a Pam 171!

Will post pics!

Thanks for all the replies.
