Deal or no deal?
Ive been offered a price of $7000 out the door for a new Pam 244 GMT 40 mm L serial number (full warrenty) from an AD. Just wondering if you think this is a good deal? I know that the most current version is o and it now retails for $8300. Thanks in advance.

No interest in the 88? IMO the 44m's are a better bet.
Good luck! |

No deal...
40 mm has HORRID resale, you should be able to do better if you really love the 40 mm. I do not have large wrists and do not wear many watches above 42 mm but the 44 mm Panerai is a exception for sure. I have a few and love them. The 40 mm PAM just does not feel or look right.

It's true that the 40 mm models have bad resale values and are harder to shift than 44 mm models. Shame, because I think that the 244 and other 40 mm models have really nice dials. I don't like the 88's dial so much, but it is quite a popular model

Cool. Thank you all. I thought that I could do better but wanted to check with you. I am planning to look at the 44mm watches. My wrist is a 7.5 inches so I think that it would work. I already have a Roex Sub and an old Tag 6000 Automatic White dial. Thanks again.

at least 44mm, what drawn me to PAM is the "Oversize" nature in it.

Get at least 20% off and an alligator strap for free. If you get two free straps I'll take the second one as a finders fee. Haha.
