2. Advise whether buying a 3 yr old watch from a reliablse source to save £2000 is good practice or not

Many thanks

Which one is better is totally an opinion. My preference is the new ceramic model however many still prefer the bluesy. The main differences are the ceramic bezel, new style case (lugs), new blue color, and updated bracelet/clasp.

Good luck and happy hunting!!

Maxi hands, dial, fat lugs, solid bracelet and glidelock clasp and different color blue are main differences.
To me the "upgrades" weren't worth the extra $2,000 so I bought the 16610.
Good luck with your choice
