1st Rad?

I'm considering making my first venture into the world of Rads, my only concern is I have a smaller wrist... How do the 45mm Rads wear compared to the Luminors?

Any wrist shots to help sway me?

Do it, you'll like it. Wears a bit larger but the lack of crown guard makes it more elegant and easier to fit under cuffs.

Hope these help you Mike.

The 1mm difference between a 44mm Luminor and 45mm Radiomir can be significant to those of us with small wrists. Keep in mind that the Radiomir will appear much larger (despite the smaller wire lugs) because the dial is generally larger. Here are comparisons on my 6.5 inch wrists:

45 Rad

44 Lum

Looks like a trip to the boutique is going to have to get added to the weekend plans.

I find my 47mm Rad wears the same as my 44mm Lum. I have 6.5" wrists.

I recently got my first Rad, a 210, love the thinner profile and classy look.

I have the 292 and I have a 6.25 inch wrist. It sits nice and flat on my wrist so you shouldn't have a problem. I have tried on the 505 (composite Rad) and that was very thick and felt/looked a little out of proportion/top heavy.

If you can pull off a 44mm lums nicely, 45mm rads shouldnt be a problem.. Youll be amazed on how rads will give you a whole different look compared to the luminors, elegant, under the radar but the presence is still there. Gud luck

Hmm.. May be just me but if I could pull off a 44mm luminor I'd be able to pull off a 47mm rad. I kinda prefer the 47mm ones as they're historically correct and also look more proportionate. Just my own views though..

I do like the 338. Very nice. People talk a lot about the 47 being the only size most folks should wear due to the "heritage" of the watch. I hate big ass heavy watches. Tried em, didn't like em. I've got my eyes set on a 42 mm rad as my first and only pam.

I find the 45mm Rad to wear the same, if not a little smaller than the 44mm Luminor. It's due to no crown protector and no really lugs to speak of on the Rad. Get it!
