FSOT: Omega Seamaster Pro SOLID 18k ROSE GOLD - MINT!

Hello there:

Up for sale or trade is this VERY rare, out of production, and extraordinarily beautiful solid 18k rose gold Omega Seamaster Professional, Ref. 2636.50.91 in mint condition (worn carefully probably 5-10 times). This watch comes complete with outer cardboard box, wooden inner box, leather wallet with the paperwork (with matching serial, ref #'s), and is mounted on a nearly new leather-feel rubber strap I bought from the NYC Omega boutique a couple months ago.

This is just a beautiful, beautiful watch, IMHO one of the best-looking gold sport watches out there -- better, I think than the current Aqua Terra or Planet Ocean offerings and trailing only the Royal Oak maybe among the well-known guys. Measuring 41.5mm in diameter, this is a watch of very modern proportions, and the contrast between satin-finished surfaces and polished surfaces, gives the watch a mesmerizing look on the wrist but also keep it from being overly "blingy" The matte black, satin-feel rubber strap is a very nice complement, and the gold, button-locking deployant is a work of art in itself. The watch is keeping excellent time, winds smoothly and everything operates as it should.

I'm offering this watch for what I believe to be the bargain price of $9000. This watch hasn't been available for many years, so I'm using as a basis for comparison the current Aqua Terra (41.5mm) and Planet Ocean (42mm) in rose gold on strap, which sell new for about $15k and $17k, respectively, from Swissluxury.net, or about $10k premium over what they get for the steel versions.

I prefer a sale but am open to trades up, down, or across. The slot in my collection I'm looking to fill is a sporty, yet elegant, steel chronograph, 40mm+, preferably with dark dial. The watch I trade for should be able to get wet and be reasonably rugged, but not be so thick or otherwise large that it would look out of place with a suit or business casual attire. I'm very interested in the following: Vacheron Overseas w/ black dial (42mm), Zenith Striking 10th limited edition, IWC Yacht Club, Montblanc Rieussec (ok, I know this last one isn't so sporty but it's still cool). I am also interested in AP 15400 with dark dial, or Rolex DJII with fluted bezel and blue stick dial only.

I'm new around these parts but have lots of great feedback from TZ, WUS, and the big auction site. I'm also quite willing to do in person deals in NYC!

Best,
Steve

Thought I had this one sol last week but alas it was not to be. The watch is great and has no problems -- the deal fell apart because of a disappearing buyer. I'm open to reasonable offers on this as I'm about to buy my first apartment!

Thanks
Steve
