Again, I apologize for the poor quality photos. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1374102455.865307.jpg

The watch is extremely comfortable to wear. It is very light and sits low on the wrist. The sandwich dial is a thing of beauty and the vintage lume makes it all that much better. The crown is very reminiscent of the old Pam/Rolex model which is why I think this piece will be very popular. The 1940 Radiomirs were the only radiomirs that really caught my attention in the lineup. Also, winding the p.999 movement is smooth like butter. My 111 and 512 make a beautiful pair. Looks good but I am finding it harder and harder to recognise all the different Pam models.

very handsome watch. it reminds me of the luminor 1950 series --but without the crown guard.

I believe last year's the 398/399 were the first of this style. It's reminiscent of the first 6152 (not 6152-1) which is the first Panerai with solid (not welded) lugs. The 6152 was powered with a Rolex 618 and didn't have a small-secs dial but OP never intended to make a 1-1 reproduction with the 399 / 512 / ... . Ironically, the 6152 came out in 1950... (and the "1950" case came out in 1953).

Congrats! it's very beautiful and classic 1940 Rad's case. Your pics and your wrist shot made me want one! Mine is coming tomorrow..... hope i like it. honestly, i'm feeling tired and uncomfortable to wear the oversized Pam's for my 6.5 inches wrist..........

I tried one on at the Boca Raton store. They are out. Smaller, very light, oozes style. Lovely choice! And.... this forum is going to put me in the poor house. at least I will be wearing a nice Panerai.
