Can be a great opportunity

Hello,

As you know, last day I've been asking to add to my couple (Rolex DeepSea and Rolex Explorer II 42mm polar) the Panerai 380.

Well, I think I'm lucky. Today I got an offer for my Explorer II, I bought it not long ago, but the offer is quite good. Since i bought the watch with a nice discount and I got tax refund In the other side, I've been asking today about the Pam 422 (I already had three Panerai, 064, 418 and 372). I know that the 422 is very similar to the 372, but I sold the 372 cause the plexi, I know also... I knew that the 372 have plexi before I bought it but you know how we are Well, the thing is that I can get the 422 for 7922$ after discount and tax refund.

I think I should let the Explorer go and buy the 422... I'll keep you posted and let you know of my final move.

Cheers!

If anyone wants one :) Only needs to go to Spain and I will tell help him with everything. I'll be in Spain from 13th of August till 19th of September.

Does anyone have a photo of the 422 together with a DSSD? just to see that couple :)

Now I should try to sell the Explorer. The guy who made the offer know wants me to reduce the price... I will not. Let's see.

Best regards

It is too good a deal to pass if it is a brand new set.

here is a couple of comparison shots. Hope they will be of use to you.

The 422 has a lower profile and tends to sit better compared to the deepsea.

Thank you very much for the photos! What an amazing couple you have!

It is brand new, from a shop in Spain. I should sell first the Explorer II to get the money...

Let's see if I have luck and I sell it quick. The guy who made de offer for the Explorer II, after I said yes... he wanted to reduce the price and now despaired.

Thanks again

I'm a fan of the ExpII, but the 422 is worth the sacrifice.
Great price too!
Good luck.

Did I hear the word compare??

IMHO, Pam 422 is the one. The movement and the case of 422, it just never get old to me.

The hands on the Explorer II, due to its "invisible design", somehow it looks short, and that's reason I didn't put the trigger.

Thank you very much for these photos! !!

Looks amazing! ! You know why I've been checking again the Panerai watches? I was happy with my two Rolex till the other day I saw a Pam with a really nice strap made from a baseball glove! !! I was in shock. Hehehe.

I hope that the Explorer will go out soon. The price in Spain is 6700€, I'm selling for 4800 a two months old Explorer and nobody contacted with me. Quite strange.

How it looks thw rubber strap in the 422?

Regards

Nice photos. I would like to swap my PAM 111 almost new for a used Submariner Date too.

I haven't take any photo of 422 in the rubber strap. The 422 with rubber looks odd in my point of view.

I think you can find plenty pics on google by search key word "Pam 422".

The new Explorer II wan't very popular and my guess is that it doesn't looks balance as C-GMT. Especially the black one, the hands looks way too short and fat on that dial.

Yes, I think that the rubber strap looks :what: in the 422.

Cheers
