Welcome, head down to your local AD and try a few on, then do some more research and go from there. IMO.
Best of luck

Thanks! I have tried a few on I prefer the bigger dials but it seems they are out my price range.

AD=authorized dealer. Just one of the many "authorized" acronyms used around here. Welcome to TRF!

Who is bob and why would you save him?

On a serious note, Rolesor is the rolex name for their gold alloy. We would say Yellow Gold (YG) DJ. The price seems low for a solid YG DJ.

Yes after looking around I will probably go with Datejust II bi-metal diamond dot dial.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get these delivered or will they probably have one in stock. Was thinking I would go to Rolex Knightsbridge to buy it!

Secondhand is great...most of my Rolexes are secondhand, and many people here buy nothing else. Just do your homework first, and make sure the seller is honest.

Well I have located a new one as I couldn't find a secondhand one.

I am picking it up either tomorrow or Thursday. To say I'm excited is an understatement.

Next question is insurance. Goldsmiths, where I'm getting it from has quoted me Β£1,500 for three years loss, damage & theft. How does this sound?

Sounds excessive, but I'm not that familiar with insurance prices. For that price you could buy another secondhand Rolex. Also depends what you are buying...the value of the watch. Post some pics of it if you can (but not here in the Review section, in the main General Rolex Discussion section where many more people will see it).
