Daytona With A New Look

Just got end links from George, aka Smartyjones18. They look and fit great! Really transforms the 116520!

Although I confess as the honeymoon continues, the watch went straight back to the bracelet.
The end links and strap will be a nice alternative to the bracelet (when the honeymoon cools off a bit!)

Certainly adds a different look to the watch, I like it on the bracelet

To each their own!

ENJOY!

Maybe it's just the angle but the strap looks a bit thin and hence dressy on the Daytona. More suited to a calatrava than a Daytona... Maybe something a touch thicker and standard grain leather?

Good to have options though

Good point, and I agree. I have a matte-finish alligator strap with white contrast stitch (a brown and a black one) that will probably be a better match to the chrono. I agree a standard grain strap would look very smart. I will swap out for a strap on occasion only to dress it up for a change, so I prefer an exotic grain strap.
Dino, I agree it looks best with the bracelet. Nice to have options!

I used to put heavy grain dark brown straps on my 116520. I'm a fan of a strap on a Daytona
