5235G pics for your viewing pleasure...
Though I no longer own this watch, I wanted to share a couple of pics of the 5235G to show how incredible the dial is on this piece. It amazing because at different angles you get different "sheen" and color. Hope you guys enjoy the pics!

Beautiful watch! Any particular reason why you decided to let it go? Must have been a hard decision

Own one Duncan and one of my absolute favorites! Truly love this watch and so different than any other I own or ever have owned! So few around as well and very tough one to get! Cheers,

Man, threads like this kill me. I'm on the waiting list, and may not get one for another 2 years. To have one and then flip it? Well, that's just salt in my wounds.

Thanks...
..for all the kind words. Allow me to answer some of your questions!
cinch and AMehta87, To answer your question in a "Readers Digest" version...the watch simply didn't sing to me. I am be virtue a chrono guy, and while the regulator is a very cool complication combined with an annual calendar (I believe this reference will be an important one in PP's history) I simply didn't favor it as I do the chonos I have coveted. It's such a beautiful piece however and I definitely wrestled with keeping it, but I felt like if I wasn't going to wear it...I should pass it along to someone who could wear/enjoy it. iazrollie, Man I am so sorry...don't want to put salt in anybody's wounds. Just wanted to share a couple photos of a really stunning watch! I actually purchased the watch on the secondary market, and paid full MSRP as well (it was like new, not sealed or anything.) I sold the watch months later for exactly what I paid for it as I never bought it with the intent of "flipping it." I certainly hope you get yours soon and I feel your pain as I am pining away for a 5960/1A! goog53, I did change the strap to a 20 x 16mm matte grey off of a 5146P. I had a spare deployment buckle and used that as I am not a fan of pin buckles. IMHO the blue strap is gorgeous, I'm just personally not a fan of shiny straps. I actually even considered ordering a matte blue strap with silver stitching for the watch. I can tell you the grey strap gave the watch a totally different look and really brought out the silver/grey of the dial! Mbbgysam, HL65, MrJ320 thank you for the kind words! (Ken yours looks great with those shirts! ![]() |
