Desert Trip Pictures

So last weekend I went on a trip with 13 of my friends down to a desert camp in the Western Desert here in Egypt, near Marsa Alam on the Red Sea.

An 800km (500 mile) trip from Cairo

It was awesome, we chilled with the Bedouins (their food is amazing) and the beach there is great! Here are some photos

We went to a protected area with wild camels. This particular camel was checking out my watch, haha!

"Coool! Is that a 16610 Sub Date!?"

"It was awesome, we chilled with the Bedouins..."

I've never heard of that expression before. How cool is that?

Great pictures Youssef, that beach looks absolutely beautiful my friend.

Beautiful pics, Youssef. Looks like a great spot for a getaway.

I gather there's not much traffic on the road you were shooting from the middle of.

My goal - - - - Get there and enjoy the rich ancient history of your country. I am fascinated with the Sphinx and the Pyramids at Giza. I hear the ancient Pharaohs calling. Your land is beautiful. Just make sure the camel doesn't like your Rolex enough to chew your arm off to get it.
