Panerai Left vs Right : 557 vs 372 !

Hello all,

Here's a packshot review about 2 watches that are almost identical but symmetrical twins :

* Panerai PAM00372 serial N1xxx/3500 with Ted Su ammo strap
* Panerai PAM00557 serial Q0xxx/700 with Attirail ammo strap

What is similar :
- same P3000 manual winding caliber
- same 3-6-9-12 sandwich dial
- same plexi glass with additionnal spare glass
- Same golden hands
- Same crown.

What differs :
- Case is different, not just flipped back, with specific engravings
>> PAM 372 >> OP 6835 at 6 o'clock >> PAM00372 at 12 o'clock
>> PAM 557 >> OP 69876 at 6 o'clock >> PAM00557 at 12 o'clock
- The winding crown protector is not the same, it is in fact totally symmetrical, and not just set up reversed.

Marc, those are some great shots. Thanks for sharing. Wish I had the wrist to pull them off easy.

Great shots, Marc!

That's the way to do it - one for each wrist.

I owned the 372 for some time , maybe a year. I currently own a 557. And for me both are amazing , the only reason I err on the 557 side is because the crown protector of the 372 hit it on my wrist all the time; so I thank the 557 for existing because it allowed me to own the watch that for me and for many is the best PAM to own
Cheers
