Up for grabs is an Omega Seamaster Date in steel

CK 2849AP reference, Cal. 503 automatic movement, steel case, 34mm excluding the crown.

169770XX serial number circa 1960 production

Excellent vintage condition watch without any major dings or dents. Watch shows signs of wear, but appears to be close to unpolished with original beveled lugs. No corrosion or pitting.

Dial is original, silver with radium plots aged to nice orange color. No refinish or relume. The watch still shows radioactivity (as should) with Geiger counter.

Caseback is original and is in excellent vintage condition. Very crisp outer engraving, inside is stamped 2849, the "waterproof" engraving is still clearly visible. It is usually worn down or polished off.

Crown appears original with skinny logo crown.

Watch comes with what seems to be original Omega box to this watch. Bottom has a matching sticker to the watch. This watch is also accompanied by original hang tags. One contains the reference and matching serial numbers to the watch, other has reference, original selling price of $52.50 as well as date stamp Sept. 1960, which is probably when this watch was shipped to the AD from Omega.

An NOS condition, unworn and unmounted Omega gray leather strap is included, also believed to be original to this set. Strap is signed Omega and has a steel Omega signed buckle.

The warranty booklet is also included. It is signed and dated in 1965 with matching serial number to the watch.

This is an excellent collector's set with items included which are lost 95% of the time, especially on such a "simple" watch.

There is no documented service. Watch runs and winds. Service may be needed if looking to wear daily.
